Happy New Year Officially
2026 has officially began and I am excited to be here!
My people. Happy New Year!!! I know… it’s probably late to still be saying that, but it is really, because February is the real start to the new year. It has been so long since I have been on the newsletter. I cannot lie 2025 was such a busy one for me, and if I’m honest, the last few months have brought so many changes, and it’s been hard to stay as consistent with this newsletter as I wanted to.
But I’m back.
One of my goals this year is consistency. So if you don’t see a newsletter from me, feel free to nudge me. I really mean that.
2025 was incredible for me in so many ways.
I completed my training as a doctor.
I turned 30
I got engaged.
I worked as a doctor in Guatemala.
I planned an event in a new country Kenya.
I planned a festival.
I spent quality time with many family and friends.
I did so much.
And if I’m honest, I don’t think I reflected as much as I wanted to. There was just so much doing.
This year, or at least this first quarter, I want to slow down and reflect. I want to use this newsletter as a space to process the lessons, the growth, the wins, and even the challenges. And hopefully, as I share my journey and the things I’m learning, it will help you move closer to your own goals too.
Maybe something I’ve experienced will resonate, maybe something I’ve learned will save you time or it will just remind you that growth is not always loud.
So let’s get into 2026!!

Podcast Club
The podcast club will be back properly. I love podcast, I love learning from other people and there are so many gems I pick up, so would love to share that with you too.
How to balance multiple passions
I recently did a podcast with my friends Lydie and Hazal. We dive into why being “too much” can actually be your superpower, how to balance multiple roles and expectations without burning out, and the secret to finding clarity amid chaos. Joyce also shares insights on deciding what belongs in your current season and why true success comes from alignment, not approval. This episode is for you
The Mel Gibbons Podcast - How to create a new version of Yourself
Loved this with First Lady Michelle Obama and her brother Craig Robinson, they reflect on their upbringing and the powerful values their parents instilled in them. They share lessons on leadership, emotional intelligence, and the importance of leading with compassion and purpose and both reminded us that it starts with small, intentional actions right where you are.
Did you miss this?
I recently shared how I plan my year and how I intentionally break it down into seasons, so I can achieve everything I set out to do while still maintaining balance in a way that feels aligned and sustainable for me.
Again, THANK YOU for being here, let me know your thoughts in the comments, if you have any suggestions on topics, SHARE this with your friends & I will see you next week !
